Hello my STL friends!!! I’ve missed you. I’m still hopping back and forth between Missouri and Southern California so while I’m thinking of you I wanted to share with you my TOP favorite engagement session locations in St Louis!

Busch Wildlife Conservation- Map

I LOVE the diversity of this location. We have AMAZING tall pine trees like you can’t get anywhere else. Then there are a million little lakes/ponds surrounded by gorgeous trees (especially in the fall), AND fields of sunflowers in the summer! Seriously, worth the drive. Last time I was in St. Louis I hit up Busch with Sydney and Mason for a sunrise engagement session. It was THE PERFECT FALL WEATHER (nippy but GORGEOUS!).

You can never go wrong in forest park. There's amazing architecture, beautiful nature, and just a hint of the city in the background. Okay I probably chose forest park 9/10 times for engagement sessions, family sessions and bridal sessions. I definitely have my favorite spots. The Muny and the pond by the skate park! But seriously wherever you go, it is just spectacular.

Castlewood State Park- Map

I definitely miss the beautiful greens being in the desert inland California...but the beach is my forest park now..so i’m okay. But if you can’t get the beach, and want that vibe, hit up castlewood in the summer! And when the river is low enough, there's sand! And it looks pretty beachy PLUS the beautiful Missouri greens. So best of both worlds here. The last session I had there was with a friend (and her cute family) I met online. Love how you can meet the best people online! Haha!

Tower Grove Park- Map

Tower Grove is smaller than forest park but offers a beautiful field, large trees and amazing landscaping next to the cutest stream! The last session I shot there was an anniversary session with Lynae and Jake, one of my all time FAVORITE couples. They’re the sweetest. And the summer dress she wore fit in perfectly with the Missouri greenery that fills the lens.

Just a reminder to think about the SEASON!! AND throw on NEUTRAL colors to get the look we’re going for. It makes the biggest difference. Then use the pins bellow to keep your ideas all in one spot!
