Meet Laurel
I am so happy to be here with you! I’m Laurel. I am a newborn and family and newborn photographer, a wife and a mother. As I mother I understand just how much each moment and phase of your children’s life means. I cherish the smallest memories of my little babies and now have the chance to capture those moments for your littles
I have loved photography since I was in high-school. During college, I started L E F Photo as a repreive from my busy class schedule trying to graduate early. I focused on weddings and I LOVED every minute of it. Now I have shifted to capturing the early stages of motherhood. From pregnancy, newborns and little growing families.
One of the things I love most about my job is the opportunity to have fun with my clients. I believe that the best photos come from those moments when everyone is relaxed and having a good time. Whether we're playing games, telling jokes, or just goofing around, I always strive to create an atmosphere that is light-hearted and enjoyable.
I am SO grateful it has brought me to YOU and to be able to make the most special moments last a lifetime.
Of course, there are also those moments of quiet intimacy that are just as important to capture. The way a father looks at his daughter, the way a mother holds her son's hand - these are the moments that make my heart sing. I am always on the lookout for those fleeting moments of tenderness that can be so easily missed in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
But perhaps the most rewarding part of my job is knowing that the photos I take will be treasured for years to come. As a mother myself, I know how quickly time passes and how important it is to capture those moments before they slip away. Investing in a family photo session is an investment in your memories - it's a way to freeze time and hold onto those precious moments forever.
So if you're looking for a family photographer who will help you have fun, capture those sweet and tender moments, and create lasting memories, look no further. I would be honored to be a part of your family's story and to help you create a beautiful collection of photos that you will treasure for years to come.

A Poem
By the Birds Papaya
They will tell you that babies don’t keep.
And yet neither do toddlers.
Or kids.
Or teens.
Or even my warm cup of coffee.
And it’s said like a nudge. “Enjoy it”.
They don’t keep.
And I’ll agree. They sure don’t keep.
But I will be the keeper of the best parts.
Not all the moments.
But a lot of them. The best ones.
The ones worth holding onto.
A collective of memories and movement from one moment to the next.
Grieving each stage behind as we embrace the next.
Because babies sure don’t keep.
Or toddlers, or kids, or teens or that warm cup of coffee on a busy morning.
But I’ll be the keeper.
I’ll hold onto of all the good stuff.
I’ll process and let go of the rest.
From the moment their warm squishy bodies were laid upon my chest…
I’ve been keeping it with me.
