Savannah Jo Francis

Meeting our Savannah Jo Francis was one of the most special moments. God had been preparing me. He gave me the most beautiful birth. I’ve never felt so on top of the world.

God had been preparing me.

We enjoyed the first few hours, snuggling nursing and enjoying her presence. After meeting her siblings, she needed a little help breathing and eating. We were sent to the Nikki for nine days. It wasn’t the recovery or first week of her life that I had imagined. But I am so grateful for each of the doctors and nurses and staff that saved my baby‘s life

We had the highest of highs in the lowest of lows.

So bringing her home was the sweetest feeling. We enjoyed the slow moments and pretended like it was the first week of life.

I’m so grateful for my healthy newborn baby. I’m so grateful for the way her siblings love her. I’m so grateful for her daddy who supports us all. For our sacred home, where I’ve never felt so close to God.

I am so loving this season of motherhood. It is the greatest calling.
